Chloé JULIEN (born in 1976) "La petite collection - Head hache" Collage and pencil on paper, signed, titled, and dated 2018 on the reverse 14 x 10 cm (visible area) A French artist whose work centers on the human body: “(Fragments of) beings, dislocated bodies—by piecing these fragments back together, I create an organic symphony.” A creative process rooted in a personal experience—the death of her father from cancer, a disease that profoundly altered his body. Through these collages, Chloé Julien symbolically attempts to heal him. But she also evokes the body of each of us, which she sees as the product of our individuality, our intimacy, and our very nature. A cathartic work for herself, but also for the viewer, as we are all, in a sense, fragmented and broken. Voluntary fee of 25% (including tax)
